Next 25th January the first REJEnerAXion transational meeting will take place in Madrid
The first transnational meeting of the REJEnerAXion project will take place next Wednesday, January 25th, focused on the role of social dialogue and industrial relations in the governance of just energy transition processes. In particular, it will be analyzed the challenge for those regions where there is a significant presence of companies which are highly dependent on fossil fuels for their production or where there is, or has been, a strong dependence on extractive companies, such “coal and carbon-intensive regions".
This conference will focus on the context and framework of the energy transitions that are being carried out in the different countries that are part of the project (Hungary, Slovakia, France, Poland, Belgium, Italy, Germany and Spain). It will also include the participation of social agents from Spain.
The REJEnerAXion project is led by the Fondazione Giuseppe Di Vittorio (Italy) and is financially supported by the European Union. Project partners include the Fundación 1º de Mayo (Spain), Celsi (Slovakia), ASTREES (France), IPA (Poland), the University of Liège (Belgium) and the CGIL trade union federation for the chemical, textile, energy and manufacturing sectors. WMP Consulting (Germany) is also participating as an expert organization.
